There are various works in progress to make such MODs work, and they may be complete by the time you read this. MODs that replaced out large chunks of the BZ2 shell (aka Forgotten Enemies) may need extensive tweaks before they can work with 1.3.
#Battlezone 2 1.3.6.5 install
Some broken MODs that installed themselves into the Data folder (which should *never* have happened, but some people refused to do things right and install to addon) may have to be manually deleted. Many MODs for BZ2 will be uninstalled as part of the install of 1.3. Missions created with the editor in 1.3 will not be readable in previous versions, same with savegames, etc.

But, as noted above, progress in SP missions is left untouched. Mid-mission savegames from BZ2 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3pb1-pb4 can not be read, as the file formats changed too much. Those new preferences files can not be read by 1.2. 1.3 uses a new file format for pilots/prefs, and upgrades 1.2's files on reading them. Progress in Singleplayer missions, preferences should be read fine where more options than 1.2 exist (especially the sound setup), users may need to adjust those new options if they don't like the defaults. However, any map/dll that depends on certain behavior in the AI, etc for scripting may need tweaking. Maps & DLLs for BZ2 1.2 should load fine.
#Battlezone 2 1.3.6.5 Patch
Like all other BZ2 patches, the 1.3 patch is not network compatible with any other version- all players in the game must be running the exact same version (i.e. Just so-so all of these people made better films. Some notes on compatibility w/ previous versions: Cruise and Holmes married in the same place and there 1000 people outside the church. In 1952 she was married to Tyrone Power, and their wedding in Rome in 1949 was bigger than any celebrity wedding we see today, getting a full spread in Life magazine, and coverage everywhere, with 10,000 people outside the church. She was a real beauty with a gorgeous figure, and also very intelligent. Linda Christian, despite the ads for the film, isn't in it all that much. Hodiak and McNally both gave good performances.
#Battlezone 2 1.3.6.5 mod
This mod makes changes to the stock odf files, and is designed to run alongside. While not an official patch, this mod represents my best effort to give the art, models, and campaign story of Battlezone II just as much of a makeover and update, as the 1.3 series of patches have done for the game's code. Martin Milner is also easily recognized by Baby Boomers, thanks to "Route 66." He worked in movies from the time he was a teenager. Current Version: 1.0.8 Released: 2/21/17. I wish he'd written a book he had the most wonderful stories. It's sad that Jimmy wrecked his acting career, but he went on to produce and write librettos. Jack Larson, who went on to play Jimmy Olsen on "Superman," was a dear friend and a wonderful man.

Lots of battle sequences - it moved along but was still on the boring side. They also worked very well together, at one point going behind enemy lines.

Danny made no bones about trying to get Jeanne back, and a secure Mitch took it with good humor. I have to say I found this a pretty friendly rivalry. Jeanne (Linda Christian), a nurse with the Italian Red Cross, stands in between these former friends. To his dismay, his rival, Mitch (Stephen McNally) is on board as well. He's a combat photographer and joins a photo unit. Danny (Hodiak) is a Marine, a vet of WW II, who re-enlists to fight the Korean War. The film also features Martin Milner and Jack Larson, both of whom recently died.

John Hodiak, Stephen McNally, and Linda Christian are on a "Battle Ground" from 1952, produced by Allied Artists, a poverty row company.
